TaylorMade launches branded FlightScope® software
TaylorMade have been working with EDH, developers of FlightScope®, to deliver their own branded software for use with the FlightScope® unit that can give TaylorMade fitting centres an additional choice to promote TaylorMade clubs.
The software has near-identical functionality to the 5.8.1 software released by EDH earlier this year, giving access to all of the same screens, data displays and readouts. However, the new software provides a full database of all TaylorMade clubs, from which the user will select the club they are playing with. This link to a full database of TaylorMade clubs also provides a unique tool for recommending a driver based on a player’s swing data. Using the telemetry obtained during their swing, the software can analyse this data to recommend the best TaylorMade driver for the player.
TaylorMade branding is also on every page, giving additional presentational consistency for any fitting centre. The software is installed separately to the 5.8.1 software, meaning that a fitting centre can simply choose which software program they feel appropriate to their individual fitting sessions. At the moment, the software is only available to TaylorMade fitting centres.
